En esta nueva página van a poder participar más activamente de la vida de la radio. Por ello, hemos implementado dos herramientas que les van a servir

Donde van a poder registrarse gratuitamente y participar creando distintas entradas y comentando en el sub-foro dedicado a los programas grabados.

2) Un libro de visitas http://patrimonios.ucoz.net/gb

En donde van a poder dejar su comentario sobre la radio, pedir el tema que deseen para las transmisiones, gratuitamente también. Por último quería comentarles que las transmisiones van a realizarse una vez al mes siempre serán anunciadas con anticipación tanto aquí como en nuestro grupo de facebook (buscarnos como Radio Patrimonios 3.0).

Discos de Patrimonio: Fela Kuti - Expensive Shit (1975)

Hoy les presento minimamente al ya fallecido padre del afrobeat, Fela Kuti, proveniente de Nigeria y su disco con Africa 70 lanzado por Editions Makossa en el año 1975, EXPENSIVE SHIT, uno de los tantisimos discos grabados por Fela en donde con una ironía fuerte y con un alto contenido social ataca al gobierno de facto nigeriano.

El disco se abre con el tema homónimo, el cual es escrito luego de uno de los tantos arrestos al músico debido a que la policía le había plantado como evidencia del mismo un cigarrilo de marihuana (porro, joint, etc), al cual Kuti se lo comio. Ante eso fue detenido y los policias esperaron a que el músico hiciera sus necesidades para comprobar el hecho. De ahi el nombre, Expensive Shit o en castellano "Mierda costosa". ¿El tema?, dejando de lado el punto escatologico politico del asunto, genial, puro ritmo y fuerza.

El segundo tema, con el que cierra el disco, es uno de los clásicos de Fela, Water no get enemy. Una fuerte reprimenda a los intereses politicos que ante sus intereses privan a su pueblo de uno de sus bienes mas preciados: el agua. Realmente es una canción increible, por mas que no entiendas yoruba o el ingles, el ritmo es algo que te lleva solo.

"Expensive Shit is the twelfth full-length album by afrobeat pioneer Fela Ransome Kuti and his Africa 70 band. It was ranked #78 on Pitchfork Media's "Top 100 Albums of the 1970s".[4] The title of the album refers to an incident in which the Nigerian police tried to arrest Kuti by planting a joint on him. Kuti managed to eat the joint, prompting police to bring him into custody and wait for him to produce the excrement. According to legend he managed to use another inmate's feces and was eventually released."
